Biography

Yuliana completed her B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Applied Biological Sciences at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy (Cherkasy, Ukraine). 

She joins the lab as an Immunology graduate student and contributes to projects focused on defining the role of macrophages in regulating the blood-labyrinth barrier in the inner ear.

 

What do you enjoy doing outside of research?

I enjoy reading books, learning random non-biological topics, exploring different languages and cultures, dancing (Argentine tango and ballroom), appreciating and analyzing visual and performing arts, and translating manga.
